Open your subcategory in PSO2

Your subclass is a second class that you can add along with your major class and you can get an EXP for it along with your major class. This not only allows you to level multiple missions to a certain level, but also take advantage of the statistics and photon skills from that subcategory to improve your playing style.

This is very important, of course, because it maximizes the DPS you can do, so you don't want to waste time unlocking your subcategory. However, you cannot immediately open a subclass in PSO2.

Complete Cofy's mission

First, you must reach level 20 in each semester of PSO2 and then proceed to Cofy Officer at Counter East Quest. You should be somewhat familiar with Cofy as it often provides you with important experiences and practically mandatory licensing duties.

What Kofi will ask you is to defeat two enemies, Garango and Fordodan. The easiest way to hit it is to complete free field missions from the search counter until you encounter them. You can also perform Ark tasks.

Garango can be found on forest-free field maps, while Fordodan can be found on volcanic cavern-like free field maps. Note that they are not as common as your regular enemy, but you will eventually face them as you continue to eliminate enemies.

Once you kill both enemies, return to Kofi and complete the mission. Your PSO2 subcategories are now unlocked.

How to open and equip a subclass in PSO2

   1. Go to level 20 in each category

   2. Kill Garango and Fordodan (They are located in the fields of the jungle and volcanic caves respectively.)

   3. Return to Kofi

   4. Select your PSO2 subclass in the Classroom counter.

Prepare your subcategory

Now that you've completed the Cofy subtask, return to the class counter. Click Change Class and now after you complete the task it will open the possibility to select and change the subclass. You can choose which semester you have opened so far.

But for now, the basic advice we can give is to choose subcategories that strengthen your main class and work together in a logical way.

For example, Force / Techer, the two major technology-based classes, support each other in clear ways. It gives you more access to technology-based photon arts enhanced with your hi-tech stats. Hunter / Fighter is another game that gives you full access to a wide variety of weapons and nearby skills. The same idea with guard / hunter.
